Site choice and Master plan
Important Eduacational Centers and schools are depicted to help me
understand the community of Sneinton and the choice of the site.

Plan and sections of the existing site.
Strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of the particular site.
Master plan showing the sites I am going to intervene.
In addition the site should have existing boreholes in order to help me establishing the whole idea of water, to be private as this place is going to be occupied by a group of people who may want to live in privacy and finally to be closed to green spaces enhancing the idea of a relaxing atmosphere where teenagers can go and feel free to talk about their concerns and not to be in an austere educational space like schools.
The site in Sneinton on Sneinton Boulevard covers these demands and in
addition it has a great view as it is on top of the hill next to the Nottingham
Academy (the biggest school in the city).

Master Plan
Most of the UK's and Nottingham's proposals ( in their strategies) are missing in Sneinton. So it could
be a good opportunity to invest in an area facing this problem and misses the
places that offer SRE, medical support and training courses.
These issues I am dealing with will be the central point for my design
proposal (master plan). In particular:
1.
A place for education, psychological and medical
support is going to be proposed on Sneinton Boulevard next to the Nottingham
Academy.
2.
The houses around this site are going to be proposed
as accommodation for young mothers who don’t have alternative place to go after
giving birth.
3.
The open space next to the site can be an open parking
for the Centre and especially for the clinic.
4.
The Greenway Centre in Sneinton could be restored and
reopen as a new sport and activity Centre more desirable and appropriate for
the children in order to invest their energy there.
5.
The bottom of the hill on Colwich Road (next to the
infrastructure of the water company which extracts water there) is going to be
the place where boys could learn how to extract water (from the boreholes in
the area), design the labels for the bottles and then
6.
Sell it to a commercial shop on Sneinton Dale, a
street with many commercial and food shops.
