Conceptual Approach

The first step approaching the plans and the space organization was more conceptual. I parallelized the water (its flow, direction, quantity) with the different stages of a pregnancy. The collage illustrates the water /pregnancy stages. The first part is the education before pregnancy (SRE) where is represented with calm water flow, as you are in this stage you feel far from the problem but as you go on the flow of the water moves you towards to fall in. Then the big pool represents the big decision; you learnt you are pregnant and took the decision to keep the baby and go on. The next part is the education during pregnancy but these waters are rough as you face the problems of the pregnancy now. This type of education has different direction with the first part of education as the 2 types of knowledge have opposite and controversial interests. The final ‘pool’ is the result-the normal sequence of the whole process- the childbirth. This collage is explained more analytically in the following diagram.
